Winter School on Energy Scenarios, 30th January - 03rd Februar 2017, Kurhaus Trifels

 

Application

To participate, please fill out the registration form (download here) and send it to Mengzhu Xiao (Mengzhu XiaoFwl9∂dlr de) and Martin Klein (m kleinOcw3∂dlr de). Registration for the winter school will be open until the 30th November 2016. As places are limited (20 external participants), early application is advised.

Fees

The ESS Winter School is sponsored by the Helmholtz Research School on Energy Scenarios. The registration fee for participants is 290€ (accommodation in a double room; 340€ for single rooms, availability limited) which includes accommodation at Kurhaus Trifels from Monday to Friday and the meals for five days plus coffee breaks during the program.

25.11.2016: Due to high demand, subsidized funding of accommodation is no longer possible unfortunately.

The registration fee for participants is 392€ (accommodation in a double room; 452€ for single rooms, availability limited) which includes accommodation at Kurhaus Trifels from Monday to Friday and the meals for five days plus coffee breaks during the program.

Additional costs for travel etc. are not included. Further details for the payment of the registration fee will be given to you after your registration.

 

Poster Session

In order to get to know each other's research, there will be a obligatory poster session. Please inform us about the topic of your poster within your registration form (mentioning a title will be sufficient).

 

Further Information

The ESS Winter School will be conducted in English. The programme includes lectures, presentations and debates. Participants are highly encouraged to have an active participation through debates and discussions with speakers and other participants during the sessions. The program will be designed to encourage scientific exchange and to assist in finding a mutual understanding of the topics presented during the week.
